I am pleased to convey my recommendation of Central Sands for their work with pre-engineered, metal building structures.
I have worked with Central Sands for the past 3 years, during which time we have collaborated on several projects for Siemens in Fort Madison, IA. Their role was to provide pre-engineered steel structures as additions to an existing industrial factory. From the start, they worked well with the architect and engineers on the initial design. They continued to provide excellent service throughout the various phases of each project and worked closely with local contractors to erect the buildings immediately upon delivery to the site. In fact, they not only consistently provided excellent service and quality results, they completed each project in great time.
It is with pleasure I give Central Sands my professional endorsement. I have been continually impressed with their abilities and work ethic.

Skip has built 7 new buildings plus some additions and remodel projects for Alsum Produce and Alsum Farms, and every project has been completed on schedule and the quality has always been first class. Skip has been great to work with and keeps me well informed of what is going on with each project.

On August 1, 1996 Especially for You experienced a devastating fire that destroyed nearly its entire factory and shipping facility. By January 1, 1997 the company moved into a beautiful new 26,000 sq ft facility.
Skip Tempas's crew was efficient and did excellent work under difficult circumstances. I would highly recommend any building built by Central Sands.

Marshall Well Drilling had the privilege of working with Central Sands on our shop/office project on Hwy 13. Central Sands' quality and work ethic were top notch, and their associates were pleasant and a joy to work with. Central Sands truly stands behind their work 100%, which is always appreciated. In the future we look forward to having Central Sands back when we add onto our shop for the ability to raise our derricks inside.
Central Sands owner, Skip Tenpas, is very personable and strives for customer satisfaction. Skip listens to your goals for both current desires and future plans. The stress of building a new shop and office was put to ease knowing my project was in good hands. It was truly a pleasure to do business with Skip and we look forward to the opportunity again in the future.
Thanks again for everything,
Natasha Johnson

Central Sands Buildings was hired by the potato and vegetable growers of Wisconsin to serve as general contractor for their Potato and Vegetable Storage Research Facility. Since facilities of this type are few and far between in the world, we started with a blank sheet of paper and essentially designed this building from the ground up. Throughout the multi-year planning process, Central Sands was proactive in pursuing new design ideas to meet the special needs of storage research and was always timely in answering questions and offering solutions to potential problems.
Following ground-breaking in April, 2007, the entire project moved very quickly. I had the opportunity to witness progress on a daily basis and am still amazed at how well the entire project was managed and how quickly it was completed. Central Sands Buildings and their numerous sub-contractors worked together like a well-oiled machine. By September of that same year, we loaded the first samples into the facility and a new era in potato and vegetable research began.
Now in our third storage season, the facility functions as promised and numerous research projects are underway within its walls. Skip Tenpas and his staff were a pleasure to work with during the construction phase and have been responsive to any and all issues that have arisen since the building was completed.
